Shadow Era - Trading Card Game App Reviews

This game has been with me for 5+ years and still doesnt get old. They have continuously added new content and it keeps getting better. Always new strategies and variations being made all the time.

Growing up I loved playing magic the gathering, but could only play when a friend was over or occasionally on weekends. However, shadow era lets me play whenever Id like, and while I wasnt looking for an mtg redo or mimic game, Im please to find a card game that has as much of what Ive come to love in a game while still being its own entity. In short thanks for bringing this game to life. I plan on participating in physical card games for when friends do come over. All in all a definite home run. Thank you shadow era for being awesome!

The ai always just so happens the have the exact cards to beat me .no matter how many ways I play the ai just seems to know exactly what I have and has the exact card to stop me . I still think the game is fun but basing the AI after mk9 shao Kahn , is seriously killing it for me.

Great variety of cards and strategy along with beautiful artwork. My games take an average of 20 minutes...but it also doesnt rush you to make a move in single player mode. While you can buy card packs and decks after a while of playing - I chose to purchase a deck and a few boosters which really opened up my options as far as strategy and alternate decks. Very enjoyable game with intuitive play mechanics.

This game is truly and easily one of the best card games out there. The awesome part about this game is you can play it on pc as well. So its good to have on the phone to watch short ads and get in game "shadow crystals" which will help you purchase cards. Literally you can watch a video like every 5 minutes so it adds up fast. There are 2 ways to buy cards. The shadow crystals (watch a video you get 5. Every level up you get 25. Buy them. Or use tap joy and download other apps to get rewards.) The second way is gold. Gold you can get from any and all matches whether its against A.I or online battling. Whats nice is also you can sell old cards or cards you have no use for, and get gold for them! You can even buy individual, specific cards with gold so its really possible to have and build a solid deck. Online gets you the most experience and gold, but I recommend when you first start off, play the A.I and watch videos so you can get experience with the game, and also buy a premium deck (only 250 crystals which can easily be had in a day or 2.) The chances of getting Rare, and even Epic cards arent bad at all. They dont come up every single time, but for only playing for a few days, I have a few Epics (purple) and a good grip of Rares (Blue.) Its nice that actually include a decent chance system of getting good cards and the foil cards. Unlike Stars Wars the Force Collection where your chances of getting a 5* card are a snowballs chance in hell. Never have bugs, even on pc. Remember... Make sure to play on pc when you can as it is easier on the phone, but use phone to farm those crystals! I highly HIGHLY recommend this game if you are into card games, especially yugioh and Magic. You can still be one of the bests, and not spend a dime on this game. Thank you Shadow Era, for making an amazing game. I am recommending to all my friends, and am even gonna try to start a possible league among us all. I hope everyone enjoyed the review with some tips in there. Great graphics, you can play online and have option to continue your game in your browser. Maybe you must need read the instructions before playing. A good game for teens looking for a fiction and adventure game.

Oh boy...Loosing time already! Just got into this and it goes deep. Great art work in this game!

This is such a fun game! If you like cards games, youll like this game! One of the best parts of the game is that you dont need to grind just for the sake of grinding. Each match is fun, and the PvP especially! I often find myself thinking of strategy throughout my day, :). Many games come down to the wire. That is not easy to have happen in a PvP portion of a game. I have been playing for well over a year, and still thoroughly enjoy it! Good luck to you all!

This is a really good strategy game, fun time passer. The problem is that leveling is really slow, they decreased gold per win to less than half, and the newest set of cards are slightly broken. These changes would give it a five star rating from me.

This is the most greatest trading card games! It doesnt seem like a pay2win game! Collect great cards and battle!

This game is awesome. I have played MTG in the past and was often overwhelmed by the number of cards put out. This game is more user friendly and has good access to competition but there is still room for improvement. Also I get bent when games are not being supported after investing my time but this game should be around for a long time. Well worth your time in the long run!!!

Great game and great updates but still bugs in game. Login in my account is still slow, loading is slow and cards go blank. Need to change how many cards and deck is limited/maximum. Once all bugs are fixed I will give this game 5 stars.

Ive had this game since 2012 and come back to it every now and then. I even Kickstarted the physical release, but this game has a long way to go. It NEEDS a new UI, bug/glitch fixes, and overall polish if it is going up against hearthstone and magic. At its foundation, its an amazing game. But its looked the same for about 5 years and could definitely use an overhaul.

Great game, card art is so cool, the world campaign system a little confusing, not sure what the story is. But the gameplay is addictive and the card collection is fun. However, the cards go blank, and casting cards can often glitch. This is still my favorite game to play.
